Yeah, I got a Mercedes.

Well, a 1990 Mercedes!

Here's a picture of something like the new beast:

Features include:

• a sweet sun roof
• windows that work
• a radio that doesn't work
• tires
• a steering wheel that adjusts forward and backward (as opposed to up and down)
• a button that snaps that backseat headrests down to see better!

This baby also boasts a mere 95,000 miles. Not bad for a car as old as me!

Aren't these annoying?

I don't get why we have them. But apparently, they do have a point.

So they are technically called CAPTCHAs. That stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart." They are used for security verification with the idea that humans can read them and pass the test but computers can't. Interesting! But still annoying.

What's in a Name?

I am trying to come up with a title for this blog. Because my current title "Testing...123" is pretty lame, I know.

A blog name should:

1. describe what your blog is about.
2. be catchy, memorable and unique.
3. not be too long.
4. try not use cliched words.

I think I have decided on one. But I can't reveal it at this time. I want to test it on some people.

Moving: Forcing the Social Experience

Yes, I moved out this week. Monday, in fact. I moved to King Henry Apartments in Provo. And yes, I think it will force be to become more "social."

In fact, all I ever hear about King Henry is that it is so SOCIAL! Or, everyone there is so SOCIAL! Whatever that means.

Word: Social

Function: Adjective

Definition: Tending to form cooperative and interdependent relationships with others of one's kind.

Translation: "A place to get married in a hurry," according to a review.

Well, whatever the case is, I'm determined to make it enjoyable, and possibly form cooperative and interdependent relationships with my kind. But maybe just the first.

I've been looking at ways to make my blog "cool" and have discovered a few websites that offer free backgrounds:

Infoserve Media: Free Website and Blog Backgrounds

This one has different categories and subcategories to help narrow your search. It has some basic patterns which are hard to find on the other sites.

Shabby Blogs

These backgrounds definitely aren't shabby! Some are a little too girly-girl for me. But the site is easy to use and offers a good selection.

Scrap My Blog

Hardest to search through because it only shows three per page. But it does offer some background ideas that are different from anything else.

These seem to be popular among my family bloggers. Might not be for me, but could be for you!

It begins

I'm sure you're wondering to yourself what this blog is going to be about. Or not. I'm actually wondering that. The truth is, I just don't know. Honestly, it's a tester--as the title suggests.

I hope to share with you all my deep inner reflections and philosophies that I'm sure you truly care about. Or not.
