My Future Library: 2

Crime and Punishment

By Fyodor Dostoyevsky

The author is Russian, in case you were wondering.

Crime and Punishment is all about moral dilemmas, choosing between right and wrong in desperate situations. I loved the themes: agency, consequence, sin, redemption, penance, and especially hope.

Although it was confusing at times (and mostly because I didn't understand Russian culture I think), I would most definitely recommend this book.
